I know you like the old Honda twins. This is something one of my mates
built in the early 80s just for a laugh.

Compared to most of what Loz posts, it actually _was_ funny.

I don't like the look of that one Loz.

I think it was a CB175 motor, but can't be sure. I know he was running
it on nitro-methane at one point, stuff he'd scrounged from a funny car
team we all knew. It had a big set of wheelie bars, and needed them.

Built by the same guy who thought it would be fun to put a Kawasaki H1
500 triple engine in a Honda SS50 frame, and who used a road
    legalised[1] MOTd TZ350 as a commuter for a year.

[1] RD250 generator and lights were bodged on.

With both these, the thing I really cannot figure out is how he got
the chain run to line up correctly.

Simple, you just shunt the engine over to the right a bit and space the
    rear sprocket out slightly.

The H1 engined SS50 lasted about 500 yards before Rocky decided it was
a bit too extreme, even for his levels of motorcycling stupidity. He
never made it to the MOT station, he slowly rode it home and dismantled
it. I must ask if he ever got photos next time I bump into him at
    Sainsburys

After studying pics, I'll go for the CB160, pots look about right :)
