Why is it that when playing about with gearing you always end up needing
    an odd length of chain?

After discovering that you can get 520 size gearbox sprockets for
Morinis I decided to make use of one of the alloy rear items I had made
for the Rotarini to gear down the hill climber and save a bit of weight
    at the same time.

So a 14/44 520 pair has gone on instead of 13/38 530. A new heavy duty
non o-ring chain to go with them. The problem being that it could really
do with a cranked link. Not enough adjustment to get the wheel far
enough forward to lose a whole extra link, but not much left to take up
the slack. Still, it won't stretch much just hill climbing I suppose.

Whilst tentatively launching it up the drive a couple of times, to see
how about 7% lower gearing felt, I discovered that one throttle cable
was being pulled very slightly tight on full lock. Adjustment of
twistgrip position and re-routing of too neatly zip-tied cables was
    required.

A happy time then had to be spent freeing up a slightly lazy piston in
    the front brake caliper.

No time left for a ride on the Tart now.
