Ooooh. Post wedding present to self...

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Sean Hamerton, Jan 26, 2010.

  1. Tempted by something cool. Maybe Italian.

This is a bit out of my price range 230423722817, but by **** me...

But this is about right: 200432729962

Or maybe a later 750 SS in red or yellow.

Any other realistic candidates I should consider?

I have no idea what they're worth and that one 'feels' a bit pricey.

    But I like those. Lots.

    :

    Have you sat on one?

I found it a bit of a stretch to reach the bars, although you might be able
to lie a bit flatter on the tank.

I assume so - otherwise the post would have been headed "Pre divorce
    present to self ...".

Very nice, but wrong colour and a wee bit pricey IMO. Bit of a stretch
over the tank and a heavy clutch if it's anything like the 900

Heh, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

But worth every penny if it's as good as it looks and the engine rebuild
    has been done properly.

I think it's about £250 over priced compared to similar
bikes of the same age, but (a) this one is in very good
condition and probably the best example you'd find of
that bike/age, and (b) the asking price is not necessarily
    the sale price.

  14. Aye. At least then you can intersperse your begging with time enjoying
    the thing you've just bought.
