  5. Hiya Corks,

The Air Cooled Suzook 1100's are great bikes and generally indestructable.
That why they are still used inn drag setups.

But $4k is way too much. In terms of handling stopping it won't be any
different than the 750 you tried a while back.

Still the same crappy tire selection though. :(

If you want a good project bike get a 750 frame and throw in a 1100 engine
bored out to 1340 cc :D

Possible future collectible; prices for them have already risen compared
to what they were going for a few years ago...

....then again, if you're looking for a classic GSX-R, that 1100 is an
    outhouse door next to this,

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Suzuki-GSX-R...77496422QQcategoryZ102690QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

    ....and it's in Perth, too.

If the price is at all reasonable, and you can afford it, have a serious
    think about getting it.

  11. I had one, an 86 model. Great bike with indestructable donk and great
    exhaust note.
Electrics can be a worry and the 18 inch wheels make decent tyre choice non
    existant.
High speed handling and cornering are...interesting.

Still got the workshop manual if anybody is interested.

Not just your HO, either. Now that real estate has died in the arse, one
of these makes a solid investment.
