    OK guys,
What is the best way to organize your toolbox ? I have been for years just
throwing the open end wrenches into the drawers and throwing the sockets
into another drawer. Then everytime you go to use one , you have to sort
them out. I have at one time tried those socket "strip clips" but I somehow
always ended up with the clips pulling off and then I have to dig a clip out
of the socket before I could use it. I dion't know, maybe I just got a
cheapo set and the clips were junk.
Anyway, what do you use ?
    Thanks,

  3. Sure - just look at the sears ad in your next Sunday paper - they're the
only guys that seem to be able to keep it straightened out - maybe cuz its
just for a picture and not for real life use? *g*

    Just like working with electronically-stored data: garbage in;
garbage out. You have to be willing to place tools carefully in the
box, if you want to find them easily at the next use.
I've used Snap-On socket bars and clips for years. Screwed
the bars down into the top cavity of the box just under the lid.
Never had problems as you describe with the clips coming loose.
Kaybearjr also has a useful solution with the plastic trays
    sold with the socket sets.
