OT Airbag control unit

    OK, someone has to know, Ford KA 2001 Y reg, i need to know
    where the drivers airbag control unit is located so my mate can go
    to the ocal breakers yard and simply unbolt it, anyne have an idea?

    ISTR someone warning, on this ng, some time ago that it's sometimes a
    bit more complicated than that. Like hamfisted tampering with the
    control unit can actually set the damn thing off.

    This one has already gone off, i want a replacement from a car whose owner
    is scrapping it, if i can tell him where it is he will unbolt it and bring
    it round my
    house. I know where they are for Fiesta's and Mondeo's so would like to know
    where it is exactly on a KA
