Just watched that, with the benefit of my recently procured (a week ago)
Sky HD box and Dolby 5.1.(last night [1]). Stonkingly good.

I enjoyed it, especially the 2nd track. He seems to ooze enthusiasm when
many of his contemporaries just go[1] through the motions

Aye, and Pete Zorn.... on pretty much everything. Don't know who the
drummer is, but he's excellent. Same line up as the Roundhouse gig.

 

He really does still seem to enjoy what he does and still churning out
good new stuff. Seriously good. I've seen him many, many times over
the last 20 odd years and he's always good, and, crucially, always
different and interesting.

 

drummer is Michael Jerome, who can be seen on the excellent Live from
Austin DVD
