I didn't think so, but my body decided otherwise.

Woke up at 3am with a blinding migrane. Just on the right hand side of
my head. So bad I couldn't open my right eye.

A handful of painkillers [1] and 3 hours later it's died down enough for
me to get a couple of hours sleep before I have to get up to goto work.

Then just before I finish work the right shoulder decides its going to
freeze up. More accurately the shoulder blade is in pain, to the extent
I'm sitting very still and trying to only move my fingers and working
out how to get through the rest of the evening with as few movements as
    possible.

And this time the handful of pain killers did absolutely nothing.

OTOH today I loaned the company I work for some money and they're
repaying me at 4% above base rate, which beats my banks 0.1% above base
rate "savings" account. Which is nice.

[1] The high(er than normal) dosage of painkillers causes headaches if I
go over a certain level. I had been doing quite well and was down to
    pre-broken leg levels.

Wot he says. I trust that the loan is secured on a tangible asset.

The mere fact that I'd loaned my employer money would keep me awake at
night. Are you sure that's a good idea?

Hehe, I'm more than aware of the risks.

The loan hasn't been finalised yet, I've got their document setting out
T&Cs and am perusing it. They're proposing unsecured, but as they own
the offices I'm going to ask for secured, and an option of converting
the capital repayment to company shares at todays rate when it comes to
repaying the capital. Can't hurt to ask.

The companys target market is oil and gas, Shell, BP, WesternGeco,
Sonsub, etc, and this recession hasn't bothered them at all, yet.

Which one of you two want to play being a surrogate IFA? :)

I just got the annual statement from one of my savings accounts. Since
    01/01/09, I've been getting 0.25%.

So that will be getting moved somewhere else...
