Came home tonight to find my fave cat, George, in a lot of distress at the
    bottom of the stairs, yowling.

Took him to the vets, the vets keeping him in over night but has told me to
    prepare for the worst.

I am FUCKING sick of things dying around me

That is shit news - how old is he ?.
Thinking on the bright side, one of ours showed similar symptoms and it
turned out to be nothing more than a bad bellyache.

    He's a relative youngster 3 maybe 4 years old ... I so hope it's bad guts
.... spoke to vet a few minutes ago and she suspects a blood clot maybe
    moving in his body

this is him as a kitten

    Oh, bugger.

That happened to one of ours at around 2 years old.

If I knew then what I know now, I think I'd have let her go after the
initial attack - rather than putting her through a few months of
treatment, seeing her get better, then have the clot move and paralyse
    her for a 2nd time.

FFS, I'm getting pissed off with the rainbow fucking bridge.

I'm sorry about your cat but if anybody posts a link to that site I'll
make sure it's not just the cat crossing the bridge.

You've really embraced this 'near death experiences' thing, haven't you.

No. That means I've got to kill something on my way to work and it's
the wrong time of the year for seeing many rabbits sitting on grass
    verges.

I'm stopping in Scunthorpe so I might see a tramp crossing the road
and I could turn it into a bonnet mascot to make myself feel happier.

As mentioned up there ^ George has gone. :'(
I'm thinking of getting a warning sign at the end of the drive sort of
"Beware of the bad luck" type thing.

  12. I'm sick of bumping into things!

Few minutes ago, laying laminate flooring, stood up and fetched a window
off its hinges with my back. Could have easily been BAD. It has a large
single pane of non-safety glass in it. I could have had my eye out! Or my
    jugular!
