  4. Quite interesting. On first glance I decided to not drink decaf any
more, but on reading on, I've changed my mind.

  5. Best painkiller I've used was anti-depressant - amitriptyline or
something - also makes an excellent sleeping pill. Best mixed with alcohol.

That raises anothr question - I've still got loads of that stuff, which
is probably out of date. Will it still work without killing me?

  6. Err.. they recommend that you don't drink alcohol when using
antidepressants. And the drug info page on this one says that it will
    intensify the effect of alcohol..
    I don't know. See a qualified pharmacist.

Hmm. I do use a pot at home - mostly coffee at work - but don't
usually brew it for more than two to three minutes.

What's the point of only 1/2 a pint of tea - a proper pint is
    required.

  17. Yes... I picked up a tin of Cassis (blackcurrant?) flavoured sweets
at Denner one Saturday in .ch, then went into work where I scoffed the lot.
Then I turned over the tin to read the label. "Contains xylitol. May have
    a laxative effect."

    They weren't wrong!
