Philips 32" widescreen TV. Model no : 9763

Top of the range model, 7 years old.

There's a fault in it in that occasionally when you turn it on the
screen goes red and it shuts itself down (for protection). Turn it off
and on a few times until it comes on OK.

I've been told its the "jungle" chip which costs about £40 plus getting
a TV repair man to fit it. (surface mount big chip if you fancy doing
    it yourself)

Dolby Pro sound. Wireless rear speakers. three Scart sockets + SVideo.
Twin tuners. PIP/PAP. Fasttext. fucking excellent picture and sound.
    Stand/base unit.

Its been sitting in my garage for a year or so now, I intended to get
it fixed and flog it for a few hundred quid but really CBA. Cost me
    about £1800 when new.

16 tins of Scrumpy Jack and its yours. Collect from Milton Keynes.

i'm bored, fairly free[1], and got a car it will fit in.
but i can't help with lifting

[1] well, apart from the cost of diesel[2]
[2] i mean, er, um... gah, i had a bad day at work and i'm too tired to
get out of this, ok? not that it would make any difference...

    Yup, easily.

Do you have the keyboard yet? Email me with addresses and things.

And there's unfortunately no way I can change the chip - its a surface
mount huge number of pins chip and I haven't done any SMC work, and my
eyes are fucked for doing electronic work nowadays anyway. Unless it
plugs in a socket? I gather you've got one lying around? :)
CBA, I'd rather it go to someone who's going to use the thing and not
just make a quick buck on it.
