As I go to type in an address it kindly provides me with options to
choose from. I thought it was from history but I've set that to clear,
so I've worked out it is seemingly random selections from my
    bookmarks.

I don't want it to do this. [1] Other than wiping my entire
bookmarks folder how do I stop it? I've been fiddling around with
settings and I'm too tired and grumpy to find a way, so over to you
    lot please.

[1] Not because of the porn before anyone says anything.

Meanwhile... and sorry for the hijack
Does anyone use Google Chrome? Is it worth exploring?

Yup I'm using it on Netbooks for general search and browse as it's
quick. It doesn't work completely with all offerings, such as Windows
    Live.

  7. Last night I was treated to the possibility of visiting WRGB Boston's
web site. I've certainly never bookmarked that, but I suspect it's
hidden in there in the remnants of the 'helpful' starter bookmarks you
get on installing a new instance of a browser.

  8. I'm using it at work, at home, and on the Lilliputer. Main reason for
using it at work is that it has a much smaller footprint than IE, and there's
no easy way I can increase my desktop's memory (RDRAM didn't take off...).
It's unfinished in many ways, but does the job most of the time.
