OT : FOAK : Walkie Talkies & Morocco

    Are these prohibited items still?

    Any recommendations on any of the models in Maplins or similar? Just
    thinking that I want something that I can just whack AA batteries in
    rather than bring a big charger ...

    and down the mountains, although they need a charge, it's not much
    bigger than the base of 2 radios.

    Well, I just spoke to the embassy in London.

    "Hi, just wondering whether walkie talkies were still prohibited
    import items?"

    "Woarkee twarlies?"

    "Erm, no Walkie Talkies."

    "Walkley Twalkley?"

    "Erm, no, two way radios"

    "Oh ... err ... I theenk you juust neid to declaire deem when yuu
    entir la countree."

    OK any bets on getting them confiscated?
