Well, PSA make a decent stab at a 205GTi. It's got a Citroen C2 VTS badge
though.

 

Friens of mine just acquired one of them. 125bhp in a rollerskate. He
adores it.

 

It can be fun. Especially with a new passenger, who fails to notice the
discreet badges on the side or the 16" Michelins, and is expecting a
shopping trolley experience.

Why? I mean, I really don't get why this is an issue. Mine VED is
£175pa, and sure, there are cars out there that are £120, or even £35.

However, I use at least £150 per month just in fuel, let alone
depreciation, wear & tear, insurance, etc. so even if I could save £140
it is such a small percentage of the running costs as to be irrelevant.
