good condition, I sold this car to the present owner a couple of years
ago and she PX'd it back to me for a newer car so i know its history.

I think he's actually someone who rides a bike and occasionaly asks if
someone's interested in a cheap car. I'd sooner see that than you
whinging about your insurance premiums or your blood pressure. Now
**** off and run a few miles in an attempt to lose some of that excess
fat.

Not really, I think he's trying to a) do somebody a favour and b) shift
a surplus motor to a trustworthy buyer with no grief.

He isn't. I've met him more than once and he's an honestly nice

It is a car so my position is really one of DILLIGAF[1] but I should point
out that none of us see fit to take the same attitude towards TOG and
really you should consider counting your standards and reducing the number
somewhat.


[1] Stood at the bus stop yesterday on me way home from B&Q and one of
them 4 wheeled cripple scoots hove into view. It took only a few seconds
for me to deduce from the way it was being ridden that the pilot had at
some time seen action commuting a bike through London traffic or similar,
much skill and much weaving through gaps that simply did not exist. Even
more so as it got closer and I could see it was customised to a fair
degree. It passed and as it trundled off into the distance I noticed a
pseudo number plate prominently displayed upon the back with the legend
"DILLIGAF". I applauded..

Excellent. I shall print that and forward it to F-i-L, who is
currently considering such transport.

 

Obviously, I've called this one wrongly - however, for someone who
'isn't a trader', he doesn't half punt out a lot of cars.... and I did
believe he does have trade connections, which is where all these 'trade
ins' come from.

 

I tried to get a photo but he was long gone before I got my phone out. He
is local so if I see him again I will jump out in front of him or
something and see what I can do to spread the good word.

 

He's a decent geezer, believe me. You've probably 'fotted with him, in
the good old days.

whether or not someone seems to be advertising a fair amount of
