Don't worry about that ever happening. I stopped worrying about sigs
when I realised that actually owning multiple bikes was better than
    posting a list of memories.

I think the hypnotism thing might be down to a lack of faith in the
hypnotist, and possibly an unwillingness to hand over control of my brain.

    "You feel sleepy."
    "No I don't."

That's nothing. I haven't actually had breakfast yet and still need to
go to the supermarket to buy some food.

I have conducted two funerals myself - my Dad's 9 years ago and my
Mum's last Monday. Neither of them wanted a religious ceremony and I
didn't see the need to get in a stranger, so I did it. At both events,
I wrote and read out the eulogy and my sister did some reminiscences,
then I called up various people to speak and to read out emails that
had come in from far away. We had Dylan Thomas's "Do not go gentle
into that goodnight" at my Dad's and 2 poems at my Mum's - one by my
granddaughter Charlotte which was surprisingly good for a 7 year old
    and Rabindranath Tagore's

"I have got my leave. Bid me farewell my friends! I bow to you all and
    take my departure.
Here I give back the keys of my door-----and I give up all claims to
my house. I only ask for last kind words from you.
We were neighbours for long but I received more than I could give. Now
the day has dawned and the lamp that has lit my dark corner is out.
A summons has come and I am ready for my journey."

which I had not known before. We ended with a moving letter my Mum had
written to be read out and which we found in her 'funeral file'. It
    all went very well.

Ah, yes, we did the eating and drinking thing, but I was too tense to
    be merry.

    <snip>

Ah well, you don't need my advice then. That's a goodun that is.

I'll have to dig out that plastic dog-collar I was sporting the other year,
then we can see if Champ can be persuaded to wear a shirt with a collar to
    the BOSM.

Heh, I remember mentioning that in an 'exchange' with Champ. Not keen on
skewing the bird population in favour of carrion eaters too much. He
suggested 'mulching', but resomation looks more interesting.

  19. Not what I'd call a lot, I have to keep my chocolate far enough away so
I have to make a significant effort (like going downstair or somesuch)
to avoid eating a whole bar in one seating.

AFAIK you can still get that, can't you?

I'm sure it's not that long ago I bought a bar of that.
