Hmm even quicker than a Khyam. I feel a trip to Sheffield coming on.

In Paris these tents have been distributed to the homeless by Medecins
Sans Frontières. Some have been used for over a year and aren't worn out
    yet. Good stuff.

That gag's one step lower on the ladder of mirth than the one about the

You need to recalibrate your onboard dictionary. You'll get an RSI typing
those extra characters in through, over and over.

I have an ickle tent that is small enough, packed, to fit into a tankbag
with a thermarest and a 1-2 season doss bag. OTOH, if it was going to be
cargo-netted on top of a heap of luggage, it could be v. useful.

Who also get the award for the crappest site this week. You would think
that khyam.co.uk would like people to see their site, but no.

    Firefox 2.0.0.06 under XP.

So what's a Khyam tent then?

    Works here...
The poles, inner and outer stay attached all the time; when putting it
up, you snap a couple of the poles into location, and it's essentially
up in 30 seconds. Pegging down the base and guy ropes adds a little
    time, but not much.

At Chimay, I'd paid for my ticket, found a nice spot, put up tent,
unpacked bike, got changed, and was in the supermarket in less than 20
    minutes.

The site is fine. It's you.
I'm running the same - is your Flash installation up to date?

heh. I vowed many years ago never to go camping again, but assuming I
make Chimay next year, I'm having me one of those!

I had a few problems with some sites recognising a recent Flash update.

I had to go to Adobe's site and download a removal tool to get rid of
older versions. Then do a fresh install of v9.

Yep. It says 'press here for broadband','press here for wet string',
press either, and it reloads the same page.

Maybe I need to hold down ctrl-alt-left elbow+nostril.

Does it need the guy ropes and pegs or will it stand alone? I'm in the
market for a pikey keep the rain off summer tent, but I'd like it to
stand alone as it may be used on tarmac.

It'll stand, but it really needs pegging out, especially the porches
which won't stay in position without being pegged.

They're not particularly cheap either, so not suitable for pikeys.
