I quite like, based on this article, Lord Young ...

"Frankly if I want to do something stupid and break my leg or neck,
that's up to me. I don't need a council to tell me not to be an idiot. I
can be an idiot all by myself."

The usual attention-grabbing nonsense that will result in little real
action. Saying this kind of stuff is very easy. Deciding which H&S-related
law or guidance to withdraw is much more difficult. After all, which
government minister would want to deal with a "MY CHILD DIED BECAUSE OF
    TORY-SUPPORTED NEGLIGENCE" headline?

A neard? Part of the chin of a mature male, adjacent to the beard.

Anyway, that post conforms to the usenet rule on corrections.

  6. Seven parts hydrogen to one part sulfur[1]. A weak but lighter than air
    variant of hydrogen sulfide?

    [1] yes yes.

Of course, how foolish of me. I blame the senility.
