    I put a glass on the patio table the night before last, the rain we had over
    the last 36 hours has filled it to the brim. Thats a lot of rain.

    Anyone got one of these wifi weather stations? If so, any good?

    Got one of the Lidl ones about 3 years ago. Indoor unit batteries last
    about a year, changed the outdoor unit battery for the first time
    3 weeks ago.

    Works OK, the builtin radio controlled clock (Ob crosspost) loses sync
    more often than not but seems to catch up around 3AM.

    Try uk.sci.weather as this often gets asked.

    I have had the same unit for a little over 12 months. Works well, but I
    use 'Cumulus' from http://sandaysoft.com/

    It's your attention deficit disorder, really needs flashing lights,
    bleeping and lots of pressing of buttons, otherwise you just wouldn't
    check the weather.

    I like that, but the Sanday weather page always makes me smile;

    "Tomorrow will be 3min 42s shorter than today"

    I felt no acceleration...
