I discovered last night that a falling cigarette butt looks remarkably like a tubular moth with one big glowing eye. The bat which also discovered this appeared a bit surprised when what was presumably, previously assumed to be a particularly juicy falling moth exploded in a large shower of hot glowing sparks all over the unfortunate creature. I suspect tubular shaped objects have now been added to the inventory of sonar echoes which should not be attacked or eaten, for this particular bat at least.
