Bought a jacket and trousers [1] from the bike show at the GMEX on Saturday.

On a first proper outing today, I've noticed that the trousers have a
split on the right leg at the seem.

As these were bought from City of Leather, the only shop that they have
is in The Mall in the Stratford Shopping Centre in London.

Do distance selling rules apply to this i.e. can I return them and
either get a refund or a replacement set?

[1] supposedly 100% waterproof, but disproved that today when I got in.
Not as wet as I would have been but still decidedly soggy.

  5. DSR does not. You need SOGA - the Sale of Goods Act. They should give a full
refuind, including your cost of returning same. If it's over a hundred
notes, your credit card company may also be of assistance.

Is this one of those shitty "fashion" leather shops pretending to flog bike
kit, that you now see all over the place at bike shows?

Looks like the GMEX show is still as quality as ever then. Best of luck
    with the trousers.
