ot: 'cos it's for a car.

I'm about to buy a car, and although the insurance premium isn't
particularly high, one of the conditions of insurance is that I get a
tracker fitted (the car already has an alarm/immobiliser from the
    factory).

Anyone have any experience/recommendations for these? The prices don't
seem to vary too much for the actual units, but the subscriptions do,
and also the offered service. Some of them also offer upgrades to
double-up the functionality to also include GPS-based speed camera
    warnings, this appeals a bit.

try a different insurance company ? Most wanted a tracker on mine but
Elephant didn't. Slightly higher premium but much cheaper overall.

Find an insurance company that do not require a crappy tracker.

problem with that is that I already have another cage insured - I need
to insure the new one with the same company, otherwise I'm going to be
faced with the prospect of insuring a Group 18 car with no
    no-claims...
