Not all - I hate cut flowers (they die too quick) and am far too
practical to have a kitten to look after. I also hate slushy cards and
would spurn a gift of jewellery - OK, so I'm not typical, but I am not
    alone.

I know what you mean. Personally, however, although it sometimes
appears that science is creating more problems than it solves, I
wouldn't have it any other way.

    Cab () gurgled happily, sounding
much like they were saying :
Have you considered that the easiest thing for the parents would be to
shove the kid into professional care? And that - by saying "No, we want her
at home for as long as possible" they're actually choosing a VERY difficult
path indeed, one that's going to rule their entire lives for many years to
    come?

  11. Would have been far better to let the kid die a natural death soon after
    birth.

  13. I doubt they'd have known that soon - and the trouble is, her condition
isn't life threatening, yes? She'd have presumably been fed as a "normal"
baby, till they found out about the problem. So, what do you do then:
withdraw food and water? I think it would probably have been better if she
had not survived, but the method involved is possibly disturbing. Hell, that
makes no sense, but hopefully you get the drift.

I hate this subject line because it's suggesting thoughts that are
inappropriate given the fact it's all about someone's 'pillow angel'.

Using lines like "pushing her buttons" doesn't help either. Well, maybe
you didn't use those words but I read between the lines.

And arrrgghhhh... I've just thought it's not 'pillow angel' in a WC
    sense is it???
