Got to work two days in Frankfurt in a couple of weeks.

I think City's a great airport, and try to use it whenever possible.
I've always found the check-in procedure to be pretty painless and
efficient there, and the airlines that I've used from there (VLM & Lux
Air) allow stupidly late check-in times. But...

It's only really practical if your journey begins or ends in London
itself. I certainly don't think that the airport's many virtues
justify a car journey from Oxford.

How about Southampton? There must be flights to Frankfurt from there
IWHT. Heathrow is worth avoiding whenever possible, IMO.

Looking at the posts from the FOAK it appears my original plan of LHR is the
one to stick with.
