OT : Leftpondia Travelisti

    UK to Portland, OR (PDX).

    Cheapest I can find is about £623 on AA via Dallas on the way out and
    Chicago on the way back.

    Does that seem a fair price or are there cheaper alternatives.

    In
    This trip out (Manchester to Chicago to Detroit and back same route) was
    about 400 return I think, the last trip was business class and was an eye
    watering 4200 quid, and whilst nice it was not 10 times nicer :)

    Sounds about right for a West Coast flight at the moment.

    As an alternative you may want to try to fly into SFO and catch some
    crappy commuter flight up to Portland...
