Just found these via a random series of clicks.

For each day of Advent, a special guest says which scientist or
philosopher they think deserves celebration during the festive season

Yes, but they're not podcasts - or at least I could find no way of
downloading them or subscribing via iTunes.

Podcasts are great for train journeys. I don't have the time or
inclination to listen via my computer.

 

They may be great for the passengers but I would have thought
slightly less great for the driver.
