    isn't there a uk.rec.cunts.who.can't.decide.which.phone.to.buy
newsgroup where your kind would be tolerated?

It could certainly reduce the % of new threads on ukrm by a noticable
    degree...

I would say Motorola, in order avoid Windows mobile.

    ITYM
    uk.rec.cunts.who.can't.decide.which.phone.to.buy.or.have.a.problem.with.
a.computer, which would reduce traffic on UKRM to near zero.

it certainly sounds like the way forward to me.

Though we'd need to find a way of ditching the interminable heavy
engineering threads too (though I suppose these serve a small public
service in keeping Bonwick off the streets).

And whilst we're at it, let's ditch the film recommendations, music
recommendations, wine recommendations (inc. Laithwaites offers), whisky
recommendations, restaurant recommendations, any "today I are mostly"
threads and any non-motorcycle-related ebay links.

There, that should do it. Although WTF I'm going to do all day after
that lot go, god only knows.

It would set a dangerous precedent of steering topics near to the line
    marked "vaguely on topic" though.....

    I vote you for pope.

Any post about what somebody's currently drinking should result in
    summary execution.

isn't he too fat for a modern pontiff?
especially if it's closed by a comment along the lines of "*shlurp!*"

it's really just the mobile phones threads that get on my goat - there
    are *so* many of them.

ones that have embroidery or other sort of textured finish, which then
shows through what ever is worn on top of them - makes me feel a bit
    ill to look at.

Or food threads containing the word "yum" singular or repeated.
