Home safe and sound (and a bit tired!). Nice to meet ya and yer good lady, dogs, and resident Christofire & Jo ;-) Yer a true gent, and brew a pukka cuppa. Thanks once again. Tomorrow I shall mostly be freeing the clutch then having some fun in the field at the end of our road. http://s56.photobucket.com/albums/g195/dwbrown/BetaTR34/
Well done that man. It was good to meet the to, and so sez Chris (whos' bike wouldn't start) It comes from days of practice. It was my pleasure, I just wish the clutch had freed off like it did last week. I considered the "oh so controlled" wheelies alongside my workmobile a pretty fun thing to do and to watch and you want more than that? It didn't leave the van before you arrived home then. -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
After perusing a couple of books, I'm pretty sure it's the immobiliser. I can't remember reconnecting the aerial wire for the transponder reader in the ignition block. Oh well - at least it's got fuel.
Check, makes mental note to put the tank back on the TR tomorrow before attempting to start it again ;-) Boy there was some hidden rust under the tank, Beav, you were right, your mate only jetwashed the bits he could see !! <Mystic Meg Mode On> I forsee mucho wet and dry, might possibly go the full strip down and stove enamel or powder coat route. <MMM Off>
I got that feeling. Powder is chea as chips and better than stoving as powder has a little elasticity. Great for frames. It'll probably cost about 30 quid tops to powder the frame and swingarm in any colour. We needed the MMM yesterday with Christofire's 10. Sorted today though and I'm saying absolutely **** all. -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
I got around to sticking your tie downs in a jiffy bag, and addressing it, but didn't make it to a post office. I'm currently at the Nurburgring, and won't be back til the 10th Sept, so I'll stick em in the post then. Cheerz - Brownz
And here I was just GAGGING to get me hands back on 'em Whenever is good enough sir. -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
