  1. On the way home just now, a slight disagreement arose (after I'd asked
if a present evening had been had, damn those Ls and Rs) over
    knowledge.

I claimed everyone knew what royal jelly was. In hindsight this may
have been rather hasty, but I still think most people know. Even those
    in Sumatra.

So FOAK what do you think? TOG knows, which is a clue

  2. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Work in progress
    I know too.

Which may or may not be a clue, but may give you a buzz.

perfumery (where does it come from question).

Heh, we had a similar conversation down t' pub tonight about hodmandods.

Its a word I'd known fer ages (since childhood), but no one else had heard
of it, and they're quite a cultured bunch dooon our way.

Isn't it what the queen had a day or so ago?

Or possibly what she offered to her brood/swarm

  6. I've finally conceded that I am not just a little drunk but pissed. So
any spelling and grammar thingys are the fault of lots of wine. I woke
Joe up and asked him the question and did a bee impression. I like
drinking, I should do it more often.

Humongous, evil, craut software empire that produces a range of heavily
customisable business information systems (HR, Stock control, CRM, etc).
The current favourite method for computing professionals the world over
to extract money from large corporates (a little bit like DBaseII was
    when I were a lad).

Colin Irvine secured a place in history by writing:
I think that story (and the TV episode in the hugely popular [at the time]
Tales of the Unexpected) did more to raise the nation's awareness of RJ
    than anything else.

  20. Complete and utter crap. A load of time wasting software that needs 3
attempts for it to be developed into something that resembles a sensible
process. I dread to think how much time and money TfL have wasted
trying to "modernise" the business using SAP. It is the bane of my
    life.
