  5. I watched it this morning. What a twat the bloke is.
Just an ignorant bumpkin who struck it lucky, but without the nous to
    deal with it.

Imo, the winnings should be paid out in 10 yearly increments of 10%.
That way we might see less of this kind of awful television.

  7. That's why he bought a smaller house away from the maddening crowd, I
    suppose. Maybe it's sinking in.

  8. It's all a bit precious, really. As far as the bloke is concerned, I
cant help feeling he'd have been much better off if he'd won it ten or
twenty years later. After all, the height of his ambition pre-win was
probably a Saxo wiv a beancan zorst and wikkid blacked windows and all
he's done so far is just an extension of that.

It struck me that a lot of the reaction to him was simple jealousy,
although he didn't help himself by playing up to the image.

Personally, I thought it quite sad that at 22 someone's life was so
fucked up by booze and money. When I first saw him I thought he was
    in his late 30s.

I can't decide what I think of it.

    Keith Allen was good.

I know a family in this position; children won't ever need to work.
It's not led to happy lives- and that judgement is by my standards.
