The latest Mr T Snickers ad has been pulled after US complaints it was
    offensive to Gays.[1]

After looking at it a few times I fail to see how it is offensive,
unless you're a power walker with no sense of humour.

The ad is banal. I'm glad torrents exist because I can download programmes
broadcast on commercial TV with all that crap stripped out.

Of course, someone would only find the ad "offensive to gays" if they were
the type of person who "stereotyped a bloke in yellow shorts wiggling his
    arse" as gay.

I thought we moved away from that sort of thing in the 1970s. Just goes to
show how backward US culture is in some respects.

It's got them some great free publicity though, eh?

On a related note, I heard on Radio 4 this evening that Peter Tatchell
is giving a talk in Blasftast this evening presenting his evidence that
    King Billie was gay.

Well, that should be an interesting Q&A session...

They're being a bit oversensitive too. Nothing at all to do with gays.
    "Color" me surprised.
