I'm not sure it still does, but I can remember my parents going to the
local offices when they couldn't get to MAFF in Cambridge.

  3. Very true. I haven't bothered - I like having no grip; means more
sideways. I drove up Pikes Peak on Saturday - that was quite a
experience. Had a couple of monumental - and accidental - slides on
the hairpins. That shook up the in-laws, I can tell you.

It doesn't tend to impress your 7 months pregnant wife when you're
doing donuts in Sainsbury's carpark mind.

What are you supposed to do if the wife is very pregnant?
I'd choose the woman next door rather than a doughnut....

Not in the porker again, I hope?
So not the pig - the truck, then? That'll have been fun on those
roads. It's always nice to know you're out there actually increasing
    the USA's fuckwit quotient ;-)

  8. Sadly not. Am prettty keen on seeing the Pikes Peak Hillclimb this
year - early July, I think. The current champ is looking to break the
10 minute mark, and I think that'll be monumental.
    One does one's best, sir.
