Am I the only one from here who has got up to watch the debate?

I'm bleary eyed and bored.

 

So am I but not *that* bored, just can't sleep.

 

Thought ogden might be up, he sometimes pays attention to the outside
world.

Read the last few days of UKRM it's making my eyes droop so badly I'm
considering going back to bed.

 

I've already voted. I'm sick of all the political adds on the tv and the
phone calls.

You mean I have an excuse to open another bottle? This Bio Bio Sauv Blanc
has been very nice. Needs a bit of balance though.

I've been buying the tiny JP Chenet as discussed above for those
occasional week day evenings when I want wine and don't want to waste
half a bottle (no matter how I cork them they never taste right the
next day) it's acceptable for the odd glass.

Oh you git. If I start drinking now no work will get done tomorrow and
I've got bucket loads to do.

I have a new gin to try, it's scottish, possibly from shetland, it has
a long boat on the label.

I just want, for once, [1] a politician to carry through with ideas
that could make such a difference. I do hope Obama wins. Does McCain
ever stop blinking? If you aged Champ [2] and crossed him with a
thunderbird puppet you'd get McCain.

[1] That's unfair given I'm evaluating the implementation of ideas
that are making a difference. Note to self, Labour have done some
things right.

Heh, that's the sum of it, I reckon, with US politics. I'd put my money on
Obama screwing it up less, though.

Wednesday night is pub night. The odds of me still being up watching a
debate at almost 2am are pretty slim.

 

What is it with all these unprompted "this is what I'm drinking at the
moment" posts? They really are very, very, very boring.

Yes, I might take some interest when it's all over, but watching a
