In excellent running condition, top restored - only from original WWII
parts, one of the best in the world. Price: 47.000,-Euro.

It just looks like the kind of bike I always wanted.

 

There used to be one of them stuffed into a hedge in Kent, I used to
walk past it every week and climb on it.

Funny there aren't any in the Opel museum near Frankfurt.

 

Going back about 25 years there was a working one at the military
vehicle museum in lamava near falmouth, didn't look like much of a
place but supplied a lot of the props for bridge too far, eg plywood
shermans built on landie chassis (but that's another story) anyway I
actually rode this one, slow and an utter piece of shite, had a opel
petrol engine afaicr, until by accident we discovered what it was for,
towing small field artillery across dirt, at that job it was absolutely
awesome.

 

One of those appeared in Saving Private Ryan. Not too surprising, I
suppose, as it was a war film.
