OT : Word .... dumbass formatting question....

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Brownz @ Work, Apr 11, 2006.

  1. I think I'm suffering from menu blindness.....

I have a word document with 9 pages.

How do I shuffle the pages around e.g. make page number 3 page number 1.

I could cut and paste but I don't want to risk losing my immaculate
formatting and layout (lots of columns and tables making up quite a precise
    form).

I'm looking for a "re-number page" menu, but just not finding it ....

go into Outline view, and convert your document to a master document.
Then make each page a subdocument. Then, you can drag and drop the
    subdocuments as you need.

I was assuming he didn't have any sections defined.

  4. I didn't.

    Thanks for the tips chaps.

It fudged the formatting - but I think with a bit of perseverance and some
    swearing I'll get there.
