  3. Hmm, not sure I can do any more than you about that. Probably less cos
you're more likely to know how he thinks.

    Where was the accident,
    Which hospital,
    Was the bike totalled,

would be the first questions. If the bike was unrideable, unfixable,
then I'd be looking close-ish to that hospital. Hospital and local old
    bill etc.

If you happen to know who he's insured with, that might be an avenue to
    enquire along.

The Audi(estate) and bike trailer can be despatched if you need.

Can't blame Bear, I suppose. After all, he did live in Watford.

Apparently it was a low speed spill on a hairpin or similar. For some
reason he went to put his foot down and couldn't reach the floor. Bike
toppled over and she ended up with a broken leg which required
    plating.

Various reasons mean she can't fly or they'd be home by now but he'll
    phone when he's hungry.

It's likely to be called "Schindler's List" now. It was first in '82 as
"Schindler's Ark" but was renamed in '94 after the film came out.
Unless he wants a first edition or they've re-renamed it...

  9. Spielberg sent a video tape of that film to every sixth form and sixth form
college he could in the US and Europe, but didn't particularly publicise the
fact. He wanted people to never forget. Hell of a film; my uncle's whole
family died in the camps, so I grew up with the knowledge, at least. His
film made it real for those who don't have a family link, I think.

  15. Told me it was a stationery(sp?) spill. Same as happened to me in France
a couple of years back. Serves me right for following Ginge.

Anyway, I looked up the hospitals in Jaén and compared the telephone
numbers with the number that David phoned me from (which doesn't accept
calls). The nearest likely is Hospital Princesa de España tel: +34 953
280 650. I tried it but there was no reply.

I spoke with a tame Guardia Civil last night, and he said he'll call his
mates in Jaén and see if they know anything.

Does he have any plans to make a second film highlighting the murder,
ghettoisation, theft of land and apartheid suffered by the Palestinians
    and other Arabs yet?

Mind you - being surrounded by people who want to wipe you out does
