From the Spanish press via es.charla.moteros:

Rossi: "Honda's problem is that they have a little fighting rooster in the
team that was battling to be all of 5th in the championship, and the guy who
was in the lead was not receiving proper attention from the team manager. We
saw this coming. Dani always tries to win, but he has to overexcert himself
to pass, gets tired and makes mistakes."

Tired in the 5th lap already? Nice one to get under Pedrosa's skin,
    Valentino... :)

Hayden: "If Dani had been going for the title, I would have treated him like
    fine glassware."

Capirossi: "There's not a single rider that would do something like that to
his teammate. Nicky ought to chop Pedrosa up into little pieces." (Really
Loris "The Harada Missile"? I seem to recall you and Harada were in the same
    team :)

Melandri "To be brought down by your own team mate makes you wonder - we can
truly state there are no team orders in Honda."

Yep, already thinking about next year...
Not sure if that's the angle, or if it's more the Kocinski cheap watch
thing, DPee is sooo precious but also very breakable (but apparently
    not brakeable :).

Hey, at least they were fighting each other for the championship. And
as I recall it, teammate Rossi passed both of them in that race...
Not sure about that, as it's been clear all year that winning Hayden
the championship is hardly priority #1. I think they just don't want to
step on DPee's toes, and it's easier to just take a hands off posture
on that. Of course, this isn't what they expected.

Maybe, just maybe, this is the first chink in the armour for EuroGod II
and we won't have to live through a decade of his reign after all...

What better way to make sure that Pedrosa goes after Rossi in the next race,
feeling more emotional and less inclined to be -if he truly intends to- a
disciplined soldier to the Hayden cause. Rossi probably knows where the
biggest risk is, thus he tries to drop a wrench into a Honda team engine
that tries to splutter into action at the last desperate moment...
Yeah, Edwards holding back so much for Rossi's benefit that he's running 8th
in the championship. Guess the strategy was to get himself lapped so that he
could have a late influence on the top result? That brilliant Yamaha
strategy thinktank! :) 8th in the championship, by the way, would have been
a result sure to generate a lot of scorn in this NG if Edwards' name started
with "C" and ended with "heca", eh? :)

So Randy has been reporting from GP pits for years and he doesn't know
ANYONE on the Repsol team?! Is the situation any different that when
Doohan and Rossi were winning championships?

whereas at Yamaha you have Davide Brivio, the team director
Hah! Everyone knows Rossi makes all the decisions in that garage...
How is that clear? Is it not even conceivable that DP justf the
reservation on own? Or that Puig told otherwise? Can ypu imagine anyone
telling the little Prince, "Don't do anything stupid" just before a
    race??
But you decided it's more fun to shit on Honda than Pedrosa?

Hey, I picked Checa to finish 10th on a lease Yamaha with Dunlop tires,
and he's hardly there now. If he'd been on the factory team I can't
hardly imagine I'd have picked him lower than 8th, and perhaps a bit
higher. So don't be so sure about that...
Funny to think that a few days ago Elias beat Rossi at Estoril. So is
this true or just Euro-style "news"? Why on earth would Fausto replace
a young Spaniard who just won his first MotoGP race with an old
    never-was Spaniard?

Edwards staying put. Stoner to Ducati. Which I
Has he said he's retiring? Who's going to ride the lead Kawi? It surely
isn't going to be Nakano, Stoner, Melandri, Biaggi. If one believes
you, it's not Checa. Can't be Roberts, he's lazy and worthless and
can't be bothered to even try. So why not Gibernau? Or is it... Elias??
To leave the sport forever, yes. So why do you mention him? I thought
he'd already said he's not going to be in GP next year?
