I was starting to think along those lines too, although more in the style of
a ranchhouse/hacienda/shotgun shack. Something suitable for drinking beer
    on the front porch of.

How much beer and are we talking cheap take aways or a sit down and
    scoff in a restaurant?

You have absolutely no idea how much beer I can force down myself when
    I'm watching people work.

Enough to take away the pain.
Probably the latter - there's a not-bad restaurant in the village down
    the road.

How much might be consumed when helping to demolish an old brick/wood
    (and glass) greenhouse?

You know you'd be better off dismantling the glass bit rather than
    demolishing, don't you?

Demolishing leaves glass hidden around the garden for years afterwards.

Oh yes. Take the glass dismantling as read, except for those panes that
have already slipped to a fragmentary end.

In fact, some of the bricks may even be worth re-cycling, given that
they look as if they are from the local brick works and are a fairly
    distinctive colour.

How big is it, is it practically falling down already, can I tie a
rope to it and rip most of it down with a van, can I use fire to
assist, is there a base that needs removing, do I get a bed to sleep
    off the alcohol?

I'd work on roughly 3-4 bottles of decent beer per hour with peak
productivity and consumption over the first hour.

Would this involve swinging sledge hammers and smashing things? I may
have the body of a weak and feeble woman [1] but I'd help.

Not large, but no vehicular access. IF done at the right time of year a
conflagration to dispose of the rotten timbers could take place on the
    vegetable plot.

The base, such as it is, would remain and eventually be enhanced before
disappearing under a new plastic coated steel sheet shed.

Sleeping it off accommodation can be arranged.

Define decent beer and size of bottles. Probably Bathams, Holdens or at
a push Banks's. Possibly even a carry out of Sara Hughes Ruby Mild
(looks like sump oil and is 5% ABV) Except that the first is renowned
for inducing "Bathy Head" and might be best avoided if unused to it.

As you probably appreciate, the major problem is not so much the
demolition as the waste disposal. In fact, first I have to dispose of
loads of plastic flower pots and sundry other tat then find somewhere to
put a couple of bike hulks temporarily. Then I have to price up skip
hire, unless the bricks are worth stacking rather than dumping.

Sod the barrow, give me the sledge hammer.
Lock up the beer until they've finished. Or dangle it from a piece of
    string in front of them.
