Don't think this is a ginge:

Did something break there? Doesn't seem to be going fast enough, or
with enough lean, to lose it like that?

I think I would have been heading for the apex of the bend at that point
rather than scrabbling in the roadside gravel. He looks as though he
started the bend on the white line and was running wider and wider as he
    negotiated it.

    Perhaps that's what caused it.

Ah, yes, re-watching, there appears to be some kind of gravel area on
the outside of the bend where he bins it. That'd explain the sudden
    loss of traction...

  5. He was on the wrong line: too close to the kerb. I bet that there was
some gravel or dust there, on that layby exit, and he hit that.

He went down so suddenl;y it had to be that or some spilled diesel. If
he'd been on the right line he'd have missed it. Probably
dirt/gravel/dust, though, so poor observation as well as poor road
    positioning.

looks like the front just tucks under really quickly, I had a similar
front diving away but fortunately managed to get some grip back and
not crash after hitting horse shit on the exit of a bend.

Was it still in the horse at the time?

Surprisingly no and if it's not horses shitting on the road then the
farmer will be slinging slurry and other anti-grip all over them
