Bloody good day out. Didn't actually see that much, but that's what
    video is for...

I think we may be reaching the point where the performance of the
superbikes is too much for the circuits. Lower-powered machinery
allows more of the rider's skill to shine through, I reckon. You
should see the racers in the Virgin Mobile Cup, all riding identical
    spec R6s. Bloody loonies!
Probably. Just as well GSE are going to WSB next year, they're only
hanging on in BSB because of sponsorship commitments. Ducati can't
possibly argue they need another 200cc the way they are going in BSB.
Also I just want to point out that the Ducatis sound utterly fucking
gorgeous as they roar past, an octave or so lower than the screaming
    fours...

I don't think they'll be too much for the circuits as long as tyres
and suspension can keep up. The superstocks were lapping within 3
seconds of the BSB bikes and they're in nowhere near the same state of
tune but they don't have the same tyre back up which showed as they
started to fall off for no apparent reason near the end.

    Good racing though.

    Not entirely:

" Due to revised guidelines issued by Dorna, the commercial
rights holders of the British Superbike Championship, our images taken
at the various 2006 rounds can only be provided to media organisations
and publications. They can no longer be sold to public individuals. As
a result of this change, we have chosen not to display galleries from
the 2006 rounds so as not to infringe the new requirements. We realise
that this may cause our regular customers considerable inconvenience,
but unfortunately, the situation is outside of our control."

Wonder where you'd stand if you were displaying them on the web but
    not selling them?

Try emailing him and asking. Just because they're not on his
website doesn't mean he doesn't have anyway pictures.

Also, he's just been given the cover shot on next month's
Motorcycle Racer, so he's well chuffed!
