Yessir.. and so were many other bikers from across the country.. Some of
them supporting and others opposed to the viewpoints of Cindy Sheehan.. I
spent considerable face time with that lady, in addition to spending the day
observing and listening while she expressed her sentiments to others ..

Cindy Sheehan has been misinterpreted and misquoted by much of the media..
Some of the outright lies about this woman are nothing more than efforts to
diminish the impact she has made on the image of George Bush.. The bottom
line is, this lady lost her son, in a war that she has come to believe is a
travesty of lies and deceit.. She has the courage of her convictions to step
forward to speak out against that war..

Her son is a hero, in every sense of the word.. regardless .. The many
veterans who participated with her this past weekend are also heroes and
wouldn't tolerate anyone who'd cast any shadow on the memory of her son, nor
the memories of the other heroes who were being remembered at this
    gathering..

There are many views that Cindy Sheehan embraces that I don't agree with..
none have anything to do with her patriotism or love of her son.. Her
attackers and the ones who'd belittle her should have as much love and
    patriotism as she does.

I went to Crawford last Saturday, alone.. This was my third trip to that
place, since Aug. 6th.. Mid way.. I was not alone any longer.. When I
arrived in Crawford, I discovered that small town, filled with bikers.. Some
in support of that woman and some opposed.. I watched while many of those
opposed to her, walked across that road.. I didn't see anyone who came in
support of her, crossing that road to the other side.. Interesting..

In another post concerning this woman and issue, I commented that all this
is not about Cindy Sheehan.. and I stand behind that comment..Personal
attacks against her and the other mothers and families who stand with her,
is the best demonstration that something is rotten in Denmark, concerning
this war and the policies which led us into this war..

Isn't this the very definition of "martyr"? Surely they will be rewarded in
    Paradise with 20 virgins.
At least more likely than if they blew themselves up at a checkpoint.
