    Hi,

By the looks of things, Stoke-on-Trent might well run out of petrol shortly.

Tesco and Morrisons were both queued up this morning, but I largely ignored
it. The petrol station just off junction 15 has already run out, and the bod
on Sainsburys told me one tank was already empty and the remaining unleaded
    will last another hour [1].

How's the rest of the country fairing?

[1] told to me about 2.30pm

I am fine thanks. I have loads of petrol and nowhere to go so I won't
be using much for the next week or two. I can't say the same for the
muppets I saw queuing at the petrol stations today when I went for a
perfectly pointless 30 mile chug just to get a loaf of bread from the
shop round the corner on the VT.

The car is full, and the bike was full earlier and now is about half
full... I dorve past at least 6 petrol stations I could have filled up
at, for about 93p/litre... But, I couldn't be arsed as I'm not going
anywhere on it for a few days.

  7. Thanet's getting a bit empty - Tesco and Sainsburys ran out earlier today.
Queues at lots of other places. I bet, if asked, they were all intending to
    fill up today anyway, eh?

  9. Interrrresting, but not very. Alton [only 20-ish miles from Godalming] had
no signs of any queues at Saisnbury or BP, when I went in to - among other
tasks - fill the car [from 'reserve'] just now.

We don't tend to panic here as much as they do in Surrey.

There was no petrol for sale in any of the villages I cycled through today.

    So no change there then.

Kevin Stone emerged from their own little world to say
I went for a bimble on the GS. This is what I heard/saw on the route
through Wentwood & Forest of Dean.

Apparently, my local Esso[0] ran out today. Cattle market today so Farmer
Giles & co were in town with their jerry cans.

    Caldicot ran out apparently.

Queues at Tesco in Lydney. Ditto Q8 in Coleford.

Q8 & BP[1] in Monmouth seemed to no busier than normal considering it was
    shool run time.

[0] 94.9p if they had any
    [1] I got 18 litres here at 97.9p

Local Total garage empty and half the pumps at Morrisons in Blackpool.
Bigish queues. I filled both cars and bike on Sunday (It's not like we
    didn't get any warning)
