It did feel a bit odd, to tell the truth.

  6. Apart from the fact that bark isn't the densest of loads[1], why haul
    it yourself? You can get 2 cu m for £60 + £40 delivery + £17.50 VAT.

[1] Heck, I brought back a 25 kg bag of Taubenfutter[1] on the 175 with no
probs. That bark's 200 l at 500 g/l or so -- less than most UKRM passengers.
[2] I though my boss spoke Gernan. "Here Steve, have some Taubenfutter,"
I joked, but he grabbed a handful and started munching. "Ah, Steve, that
    means 'pigeon food'!" <<splutter!>>

No, it's got a microprocessor, not a very good one, with only a
    seven-bit memory.

The bark's worse than a byte.

Those two cost £8.40 the pair, all in.

I'm covering a flowerbed, not recreating Epping Forest.

How heavy were they? No heavier than a pillion, surely?

colour match - green packaging would have looked naff.

I'd guess, having carried them through the house, that they're around
35-40 kg each. It certainly sank a bit when I eased it off the
centrestand (before I sat on it)

Mind you I do recall a Honda[1] publicity ad/cult photo showing a couple
of Sumo wrestlers on something ridiculously small from not so far back.

[1] Coulda been anybody really but it fits Honda's slightly offbeat
    style.
