Sorry to hear of your trouble. I'm glad you're still hanging around the group. I enjoy your posts. I had a 'frozen shoulder' a couple of years ago. AKA adhesive capsulitis or 'Duplay syndrome'. After one cortisone injection they decided there was nothing they could do for me but to let the problem run its course, which took about 10 months. Very painful, plus I could hardly move the shoulder. Vicodin helped (some) but of course you can't take it all the time. But when it started going away, I found riding the bike was actually beneficial! The angle of the arm to the shoulder was comfortable, and the vibration was like therapy!
"Oh I wish I was on oxycontin -- hard times then would be forgotten..." You can probably remember the tune. Or if you're my age, simply "happy trails to you" -- a self-parodying song if ever there was one. Al Moore DoD 734
Thanks! Since my bike is my only transpo, I can't wait to get back on it! In the meantime, I'm working on a second murder mystery novel which involves a cult of pseudo-Christian bikers who use their religion as a cover for darker deeds. Loosely based on a group called 'Set Free,' it at least keeps me on the road, in my imagination... -- -- Spidergraham Chaplain, ARSCC "Comparing Scientology to a motorcycle gang is a gross, unpardonable insult to bikers everywhere.
