Oximiser Question

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Wicked Uncle Nigel, Feb 26, 2005.

  1. Got myself an Oxford Oximiser, and finally got around to hooking it up
    to the ZZR.

I have (of course) mislaid the manual in the meantime... Is it normal to
have the yellow ("Charging") and the red ("Yer Battery's Fucked, Bubba")
lights on at the same time?

There's a green ("I've Got Da Power") light on as well.

All very pretty, and slightly worrying.

Can't remember what make I've got, but if it's any help the more lights on
in a line, the better. It goes Red, orange, yellow, green and only when all
4 are lit does it mean the battery is OK.

There are two other separate lights. One is green for power on. The other,
I think is "You've connected it the wrong way , you twat". Or similar.

    Ah, OK.

Thanks for that, looking at the display the orange one is on (a bit) as
well. So I shall await the green with interest.
Yep, I'd sussed the "Ling Yong"[1] light. Even *I* managed to connect
the red lead to the red terminal...

[1] Ah, old gags. You've got to love them...
