    Sounds like a plan...

    ..au:
I was "yeah, whatever" about the whole deal until "camping" got
factored in. Young Dave here needs to try out his one woman tent,
and I've got my *three* women tent that I don't half mind pitching...

(and before you ask Dave, git yer own! It's not my fault you
don't have the foresight to come up with a threesome or a
    foursome tent!)

Now, are there any sleazy pick-up joints near this caravan
park of which you speak? :)

Mate, if you're ready to take on the Gloucester fare... then perhaps you
    shouldn't be riding. *hic

Actually that's a bit harsh. I did see a very attractive tree last time I
was in Gloucester. Actually I may have seen that hanging 'down there' as I
had a piss... but can't be sure at this time.

Gees, this is going to be a fun weekend! ;-)

    Cheers,

With the greatest of respect Sir, it's beginning to sound
    downright fuckin' dangerous!

G, so you reckon the Glouster wimmin are up for it huh?

So you weren't aware there's a backpacker hostel and the local pub is
frequented by various young things from places like* Sveden and Norvay ?

I'm not sure how the Barrington tops got onto international guide books
or why (there's no fruit picking that I'm aware of), but there ya go.

Last time I stayed at the pub.. Parked the bikes in the beer garden out the
    back.

Then stayed at the Walcha Motel for about $35 each (i think). Luxuries like
comfortable beds, own shower etc etc.

Or you could go feral and stay at Gingers Creek.

One trip this year ended up riding the entire Thunderbolts way in the dark
(middle of winter)... now that was an experience!

Does the Gloucester pub have rooms ? Hmmm less distance to stagger...
Pretty bloody ordinary, no desire to stay there again, New England at
Walcha is a better bet (or one of the other pubs)

Must have been the Gloucester tree. People as far away as Western
    Australia talk about it.

The pub in the main drag (opposite the cafes) has rooms above the back
    bar/buffet.

Not bad rooms actually. twin share. ONly one shower upstairs i think. So
you need to be up early to use that.

Under new management since late last year

They haven't done a huge amount of work on the place but it is certainly
    less feral

They have also put PULP in which makes it a great base for just belting up
    and down the twisties.

  20. All I know is it's ripper beer garden.
It'll have to be the New England for me, John. Gotta have a beer with
    Robert...
