Righto, I can live with that, you want to do the bookings ? We have 4
people confirmed incl. yourself, plus Postman Pat said he'd be there*

    JL
*I dunno how the protocol works, do ya book him a room or not ?

  2. Yeah, no worries. I'll grab a pub motel room for me 'cause I'm shithouse at
climbing stairs. Do you other three want the cheaper pub upstairs rooms
    option?

    Hey John,

Sounds like fun eh? Looks like I'm 90% of the way to managing my way out of
a 'family commitment' on that weekend. I should be OK for the ride. :)

Should I be going, I'll do the following:

Fri afternoon: Syd -> Gloucester (via Wollombi, Singleton, Gresford... you
know the route) - can't stomach highway
Sat: Gloucester > Walcha > Wauchope, probably catch up with family there
    (olds live in Wauchope).
Sun: Wauchope > Walcha, maybe meet you buggers there for the spin home if I
    can get there early enough

    Sound OK to you?

Cheers and thanks for putting this together,
    Dave E
PS. I may have another mate interested - we may have to come up with some
    decent excuses (right Eck??) ;-)

Well that wouldn't be hard, I've been to onepercenter clubhouses that
    were less feral !!
Woohoo !! (although I'd be sus on how clean the tanks are, at least I
know I can get juice there now)

and the other benefit is being in the middle-ish of the twisties, rather
    than 60 k's away

  10. I'm fine with pub or motel accomodation--and yes,I _will_ be there...
I left for Narrabri (6 hours late) on Friday to meet the OAR mob on their
way to Byrock, then had a couple of hundred kays to cover on Saturday
    morning.
After making the effort to get to Coolah before the BMW club arrived for our
meeting/pissup on Saturday,I then had to endure every bastard asking why I
    was there before dark...
Not that I do that often,of course...

Nope you weren't, you were on either the TDM or an MZ I forget which and
we lost you again somewhere along the way as I recall.

Hang on, go go google...hmmm google is broken...or more to the point my
dns is - it won't resolve the IP address.

Oh well, my dodgy memory says that was the first time I heard Al
Pennykid say "Pat'll be here, he said he'll be here" (meaning "yeah like
    hell he will")

We had some good snorers in the group, and I forgot my earplugs :-(

    JL
    when was that - circa 2002 ?

  14. He was on the Black TDM, Bruce Campbell was on the MZ (strangely they both
    now own Trannies).

  15. Bruce still has his MZ (well he did earlier this year). The Transalp
had a baptisim of fire in Myrtleford, well a baptisim of falling over
in the river and dinging the radiator technically...

  16. Still has one MZ(the one with the nice colour scheme), the one he rode on
the Oxley Run is gone now.

Do they make earplugs that will keep Clem's snoring out?!

  18. That's not where ear plugs are supposed to go.
