    Do you want to win?

Road bike is fine, given minimal preparation. The biggest problem is
usually lock-wiring the sump plug. Some reckon it is OK for a 'have a
go' deal ride as offered by the NHCA, but you would have to check first
if the scrutineer would let it through. Just too late for the last
Hartland though, so you would have to wait until next year now.

Like James Godman, you can ride to the meeting on your Harley, bolt on
numbers, then go faster than Champ. Although TBF he bought in on a
trailer yesterday because he had the family along.

Well, that's a bit naughty to be honest. Especially if you get caught.

What? If I never cheat and he never loses?
I can't see that being a big problem for a bloke!

  6. Apparently One of Cheryls grandfathers used to do it - and back in
those days there was even a pillion class so he did it with her
grandmother on the back of the bike..

Nutters. But that's Cornwall for you.

Indeed. Some of the great names in speed hill climbing have hailed from
Cornwall. Opie and Spargo to name but two. Devon tends to produce the
most top ten riders these days.

It does look a lot of fun. :)

What are the classes? Where would a 500 2 stroke single fit? :)

351-500 Class. MX/Supermoto machine? The rider of such a bike set solo
FTD and a new solo outright hill record on Saturday.
