    Cheese.

A jackup kit will be on the cards, methinks, as will a Scottoiler and
therefore a nice black rear wheel in short order.

Cheers, fella. I would have bought a black one if such had been
available at the time, of course. As to the mendicant's options, they
    are indeed limited.

Ah, well, you see: black Baglux covers seem to go for >80% of the new
price, which seems to me to be taking the piss somewhat.

So I bought the cheapest one I could find[0], with a view to getting some
shoe dye to make it black, which I've seen done before quite successfully.

Except, before that actually happened, the Bandit magically transformed
into a shiny ZX-9R. **** knows how that happened, but I'm trying not to
    think about it too much.

So, if anybody wants the cover, it's up for grabs at a reasonable price
until I get around to punting it out on eBay, along with the Art can.

[0] It's actually that yucky light blue/green colour, not the dark
green, which probably explains its inexpensiveness.

Is it for a pre- or post-2000 model? ISTR it's the older type, in
which case Pip is up for it, otherwise let's open negotiations...

It's for a pre-2K, but I'm not sure if Pip really wants it, given the
    colour...

It's not often one sees the term "slave to fashion" used in a post
    directed at Pip.

Frankly, I'm a little shocked. Mildly perturbed too, now you mention
it - just because the rest of the world seems to have caught on to the
One True Colour ... I can see a set of green and gold leathers coming
    soon.

  13. Nice, wich one? I've not been keeping up.

MY triumph is a lot smoother than the 9R. Although after doing the carb
    balence thing it's alot better.

I thought it was a bit of both, on this occassion, and was rather
hoping for an amusing cascade. Spoilsport.
