    ....'cos he's probably seen it.

    Ski gliding the Eiger.

If it's a Ginge then that'll teach people to write details in their
    posts instead of just URLs.

Kinell. Is that the north face he sort of traverses across at one stage?

On watching it this morning SWMBO (she who Mont Blanc 'owns'[1]), who
used to be able to skill pretty well before her knees went immediate
reaction was, "ridiculous." The lad , who can ski competently and is at
silver grade (for his age group) at the climbing wall after just three
    weeks response was, "wicked."

[1] As in climbed and therefore 'bagged' it some years ago.

  12. Bah, humbug :)
He crosses onto the N. face at 1'01" - the rest is all on the N. face.
The W. side actually looks rather skiable, although it's difficult to
tell the angle from the video. The white bits pretty much join up.

That thing really doesn't fly all that well - is this some new sport,
using a paraglider that is far too small?

  13. Hoalee shit.

That bit where he goes off the edge is fucking fucking fucking amazing.

Bet he was shitting himself a bit about odd wind patterns next to the
rockface though. Not much in the way of second chances there.

Not so much the paragliding as the combo with skiing and falling in a
semi-controlled way. Not turning up dead in small pieces at the end
    of the run, really.

Just like art, if I look at something and think: "That's
good/cool/smart", followed by "I wish I could do that but I'm fucked
if I'm going to try/it would turn out gash/I'd die in the attempt" -
then I'm impressed. Simple, I know - but that's me.

The " Not much in the way of second chances there" bit was what did it
for me, tbh - that and the scenery - and the skill - and the
bottle/spare cash to do it in the first place ...
